posted this as a review a while ago but it should be here too

HAZARD FUNCTION is the Tomb of Horrors of FIST - An instantly fun, iconic dungeon crawl, themed around being difficult, that's designed to teach you how to think when approaching the game, and to create fun stories about the characters' well-earned triumphs and gruesome failures.

My advice to referees would be to embrace the "trial-by-fire" setting of the Crucible; it will be more interesting if you treat each room as its own mini-mission, as opposed to a series of increasingly difficult killboxes (but that way is fun too).

I have run HAZARD FUNCTION as my first game of F.I.S.T and I loved it an extremely crazy times with ton of fun to be had and an extremely dangerous dungeon/facility and pretty easy to run for a beginning Referee everything is randomized

I've run HAZARD FUNCTION a couple times and played it solo (an interesting experience) a couple more. It's a delight. The speed at which characters meet their gruesome fate and the variety of possible situations keeps things from getting boring, and it means players have to play smart. I highly recommend it, though I do also recommend replacing the robots with humans around half of the time as they make for more dynamic threats.
