FIST: Ultra Edition is now in Beta! We've added a ton of new things and tweaked some old things since alpha, including:

• The (almost) fully-functional Intelligence Matrix—a huge collection of interlocking random tables (half the book or so!) for story and lore inspiration. You can now quickly procedurally generate stock characters like Scientists and Politicians, factions like Criminals and Insurgents, tons of enemies from several categories (Experiments, Robots, and Anomalies to name a few), and more!
• More referee tools—we've added a partial successes table/guide to make adjudicating them easier, a highly requested feature! You'll also find a full suite of optional rules (some new or updated), and a WIP two-page rules summary to keep on hand when you don't have the whole book.
• More RPG theory—in the new referee section called "Using agency", we briefly discuss the referee's role and dynamic with the players, plus a few tips for common situations, like the sudden death of important NPCs.
• Trait tweaks and upgrades—some traits have been revised with community feedback to be more exciting, logical, or fair (with more tweaks to come as we approach release!)

This will be either the last or second-to-last update before our planned release date on 4/30. If you have any feedback, suggestions, comments, criticisms, concerns, absolutely anything—this is the time to tell us about it! This will be the ultimate version of FIST with no planned updates, ever—and to be the foundation for adventures, community content, and brand new games, FIST: Ultra Edition needs to be rock-solid.
