Good morning, operatives! It's been three years since FIST originally dropped. You might not remember that version—it only had 35 traits!—but we've come a long, long way since then. FIST: Ultra Edition has officially entered Alpha—that means it's now a fully playable game. In the newest update, you'll find:

• A full list of 216 traits! More than double the previous version of FIST, all revised, balanced, and playable (though not yet properly numbered for a D666 table, so you'll need to roll d216).
• A selection of 36 roles! All kinds of new roles have been added, including some fun ones like RETURN (get back to wherever you came from) and MASK (like a WILDCARD, but hiding a sensitive soul underneath). With 36 roles, you can now randomly generate your motivations as well as your abilities (though that still needs to be formatted for D66 as well).
• A brand new, expanded mission generator and 216 one-sentence mission prompts! This is like a mutated, swollen, powerful version of the original Mission Generator. Now it's got way more possible missions, and bolded words that refer to random tables in the back of the book!
• More random tables—these aren't done yet, but you'll find a lot more inspirational material to play around with, like tables for Agencies and Cults!
• More items and gadgets—there are now eleven high-tech CYCLOPS gadgets available for player use (with the attached risk of microscopic geo-tracking transmitters). You'll also find a list of 216 weapon skins to customize your guns, an unfinished list of cassette tapes (some useful, some just vibey), and more writing for the ref about handling the use of common items.

Since FIST Classic will soon be outdated (though not useless—we're designing everything to be backwards compatible), it's going out of print. MANDELBROT SET, the psychedelic, multiverse-hexcrawling campaign kit we released alongside FIST Classic, will also be halting print production.
